Explore the beauty of Šerlich and its surroundings through great cycle paths and hiking trails that take you to picturesque forests, along mountain streams and to historical monuments.

The cycle path, which starts at the top of Šerlich and runs almost entirely downhill, passes right through our village. The cyclobus, which runs four times a weekend, will take you and your bike to the top. If you don't have your own bike, don't despair! You can easily rent a bike in the sports area.

The popular hiking trail "Valley of the Bublačky" is also located near our property. This picturesque trail runs along the mountain stream Bublačka and passes through a three-kilometre stretch of 80-year-old mixed forest. The trail ends at an iron riveted bridge with the interesting name of Kraví skok, which leads over the Pastvinská Dam. From here it is only a short walk to the picturesque village of Pastviny, where you will find several restaurants, boat rentals and a swimming beach.

At the other end of the trail is the ancient village of Čihák, where you can admire the stone bridge over the Divoká Orlice River, which forms the state border with Poland. A short distance away is the Orlická Chalet with its rich menu and interesting history. During the Second World War, members of the Hitler Youth trained here, which led to the local nickname of the hut "Kinderheim".

Another interesting hiking trail leads from Zemská brána, which is approximately 4 km long and follows the flow of the Divoká Orlice River to Klášterec nad Orlicí. From Klášterec nad Orlicí, you can return to České Petrovice via the Bublačka valley or take a bus that will take you comfortably along the winding road back to your accommodation.

Come and explore these beautiful routes, which offer not only beautiful nature but also a piece of interesting history.
